Buford L. Haworth Jr., 58, passed away Monday, June 21 at Gibson General Hospital.

 Born July 25, 1951, he was the son of Buford L. and Lois R. (Daniels) Haworth.

He was retired military having served in both the United States Army and Navy. He was a member of the American Legion Post 51, VFW At-Large, 40 and 8, Disabled American Vets and the Thirteenth Regiment.

 Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Juanita M. (Rostron) Haworth; daughter, Amber Miller of Crown Point, N.Y.; sons, Bryan and Michael Haworth of Owensville; and three grandchildren.

 A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Friday at Holders Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Ping officiating. The service will include full military rites. His wishes were to be cremated and ashes scattered at sea.

 Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
