Laura Naomi Williams, 85, of Poseyville,  passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010 at New Harmonie Healthcare in New Harmony.

Born April 2, 1925 in Mt. Carmel, Ill., she was the daughter of John and Sadie (Williams) Straw.

She was a 1943 graduate of Griffin High School and was a member of New Harmony Christian Church.  She owned and operated the Busy Bee Beauty Shop in Evansville.

Survivors include a daughter, Sherrie (Ken) Seibert of Poseyville; two brothers, John Straw of Owensville, Ed Straw of Princeton, four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death her parents; husband, Marvin L. Williams; son, Larry Williams; and brothers, Earl and George Straw.

There will be no funeral services.  Her ashes will be buried in the Poseyville Cemetery and scattered at Selway Falls, Idaho.
