B. Max Schuh, 78, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville.

Born Nov. 22, 1931 in Wabash County, Ill., he was the son of Philip A. and Grace (Broster) Schuh.

 He married Jeanetta Waddle, Dec. 26, 1951 in Allendale, Ill.

He was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Mt. Carmel. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 35 years.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanetta; three sons, Denis (Connie) Schuh of Palm Desert, Calif., Michael Schuh of Copenhagen, Denmark, Mark (Virginia) Schuh of Haubstadt; daughter, Pam (Melvin) Whitten of Mt. Carmel; brother, Ray (Norma) Schuh of Henderson, Ky.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by his parents.

 Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, May 31, 2010 at the chapel of Short Funeral Home in Mt. Carmel. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery in Keensburg, Ill.

 Visitation was 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
