Edwin A. Lindauer,
74, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
Born Dec. 2, 1935 in St. Henry, he was the son of Leonard F. and Rosa Sermersheim.
He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic
Church in Fort Branch and the Knights of Columbus in Haubstadt. He was employed
ta Emge Meat Packing Co. in Fort Branch and later for the town of Fort Branch
until he retired in 2008.
Survivors include his wife Phyllis (Wonder) Lindauer; three daughters, Lisa Allen of Boonville, Kelly
Fleming of Evansville, Rhonda Venson of Princeton; a sister, Rita Neihaus of Ferdinand; three
brothers, Norbert Lindauer and Wilfred Lindauer, both of St. Henry, Martin Lindauer
of Fort Branch; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents;
three brothers, Joseph and Linus Lindauer
and Father Prosper Lindauer OSB.
A mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch with Father Bernard Etienne as the celebrant. Burial
will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Stodghill
Funeral Home in Fort Branch, and again from 9 a.m. until service time at the church on Wednesday. A
Rosary at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
