Kathleen L. Enochs, 74 of Patoka, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.  

 Kathleen was born Dec. 30, 1935 in Beckley, WVa. to William and Florence (Patton) Maxey.

She was a member of the Oasis Assembly of God in Princeton for the past 37 years. She was a teacher’s aide at Temple Christian Academy from 1977 to 1987.

 She lived in the Patoka area for the past 54 years. She was a Sunday school teacher and worked with Angel Food Ministry at Oasis. Kathleen loved to play Scrabble.

 She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Earl; three children Janene (Roger) Michel of Fort Branch, Teresa (Tom) Miller of Keensburg, Ill., Rev. Jeffrey (Tina) Enochs of Fort Branch; two sisters, Gaye Swan and Brenda Pittman both of Anderson; three brothers, Tom Maxey of Anderson, Jim Maxey of Brewster, Wash., Ron Snyder of Linton; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Deon Enochs; five brothers, William, Fred, Paul, Bob, and John Maxey; and a sister, Virginia.  

 Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday May 31, 2010 at Oasis Assembly of God in Princeton, with the Rev. Mike Marsh and Rev. Glyn Pfohl officiating. Burial was in Burris Chapel Cemetery in Linton.  

Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2010 at the church and was 9 a.m. until service time Monday. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton handled arrangements.
