James E. Shoultz, 60 passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010.

Born Oct. 8, 1949 in Washington, Ind., he was the son of  Robert and Marie (Turpin) Shoultz.  

He married Rose Hutton April 14, 1990 in Mt. Carmel, Ill.

He was a veteran and served during Vietnam War  He was a member of the Apostolic Church in Mt. Carmel, Ill., the VFW and Eagles of Mt. Carmel.  He worked for Dell Miller Oil as a driller and was a CNA at the nursing home.

Survivors include by his wife Rose of Mt. Carmel; two daughters, Lawanda (Jack) Jefferson of Princeton, Geneva White of Mt. Carmel; two sons, Frank E. Shoultz of Missouri, James L. Shoultz of Mt. Carmel; mother, Marie Shoultz Campbell; 12 grandchildren; and several extended family members and friends.

 He was preceded in death by his father; three brothers; and a sister.

 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ingram Funeral Home in Allendale, Ill. with graveside a service at 2 p.m. at the Anderson Chapel in Petersburg with military rites. 

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
