Eugene H Fougnies, 83, of Fort Branch, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at The Waters in Princeton.

Born April 2, 1927 in Sullivan, he was the son of Charles and Ruth (Landis) Fougnies.

He was employed as a mail carrier, was a WW II and Korean War veteran. He was a member of the Fort Branch General Baptist Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Bill Fougnies of Princeton Robert Fougnies of Indianapolis; and sister, Geraldine Davis of Fort Branch.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with the Rev. Steve Akins officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch where military services will be conducted by VFW Post 2714 and American Legion Post 194.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
