Lillian May Rosemeyer
Butler, 99, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.
Born Aug.17, 1910 in Buckskin, she was the
daughter of Mike and Laura Belle (Kissel) Cromer.
Survivors include a son, Stephen (Linda)
Butler of Wadesville; daughter, Brenda (Jerry) Boman
of Notasulga, Ala.; sisters, Mildred Loewenkamp
of Princeton, Peggy (Eddie) Powasnick
of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Mary Cromer and Connie Cromer of
Mackey; brothers-in-law Andrew Cairns of Leesburg, Fla., Jesse Butler of Poseyville;
six grandchildren; three step-grandsons; 14 great-grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first
husband, Harold Rosemeyer, her second husband, Owen
Butler; sisters, Edna Rosemeyer, Elsie Cromer, Ruby
Cairns, LaVerne Schmett;
brothers Dorris, Kenny and Charles Cromer.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Poseyville
with Rev. John Matsel and Pastor Jann
Heseman officiating. Burial will be in Poseyville Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Friday at the Werry
Funeral Home, Poseyville Chapel and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.
