Linda Ann Biggs, 64, of Winslow, Friday April 9,
2010 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper, following long battle with cancer.
Born Feb.
9, 1946 in Sherman Texas, she spendt
her youth and teen years in Texas and New Mexico. She met husband while attending Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM. They united in marriage on March 29, 1964. Linda spent most of her life as a homemaker,
raising her children and supporting her husband while living throughout United States, Turkey, Libya, Guam and traveling the world.
Linda had no enemies, but had friends
scattered around the globe. Her passion in life was her family and horses;
early in life was a barrel racer and later enjoyed trail riding.
Linda and husband are the owners of Yellow
Rose Ranch in Arthur.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years
Charles (Chuck) Biggs; daughte, Kelly (Greg)
Yarbrough of 29 Palms, Calif.;
son, Scott (Emily) Biggs of Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren, Isabel, Charlie,
Lila Biggs, Corey and Luke Yarbrough
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. (central) Tuesday April 13, 2010 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City
with Dr. Douglas Low officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. until the service hour on Tuesday at the chapel.
