R. Maurice Webb, 84, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

 Born Dec. 21, 1925, he was the son of Dempsey M. and Ethel Eunice (Cox) Webb.

Maurice was a farmer and a school bus driver for the South Gibson School Corp. bus No. 4 for 39 years. He was a member of the Owensville United Methodist Church and a 50 year member of the Poseyville Masonic Lodge F. & A. M. 632. He graduated from Poseyville High School and Purdue Short Course.

 Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Frances L. (Martin) Webb of Owensville;    daughter, Brenda Miley of Princeton;  brother, John (Jean) Webb of Poseyville; sister, Murlea (Roy) Maier of Wadesville; grandchildren, Amanda Miley and Justin Blanton of Evansville, Syanda Miley of Princeton, Troy (Amy) Miley of Somerville, Shane (Jamie) Miley of Somerville; four great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; two nieces; and five nephews.

 Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 4 at Holders Funeral Home  in Owensville with the Rev. Linda Lawler officiating. Burial will be in the Owensville Cemetery.

 Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with a Masonic service at 7 p.m.
