Wilma (Leewright) Stallings, 79, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010 at CORE Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Jan. 9, 1931, she was the daughter of Carrol and Mabel (Davis) Leewright.

She was a 1949 graduate of Owensville High School, was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, Marx Road and a former member of Cypress Baptist Church in Boonville.  She was a life-long homemaker.

 Survivors include her husband of 60 years, James Ivan Stallings, daughter Debra (Danny) McClane of Evansville; son James Michael “Mike” (Linda) Stallings of Kentucky; sister, Alta Faye Nettleton Goldman of Poseyville; six grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Allen Wayne Leewright; and two sisters,  Vera Jean Mathew and Lois Winternheimer.

 Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday March 17, 2010 at Werry Funeral Home, Poseyville Chapel with the Rev. Randy Bechtel officiating. Burial will be in Bethsaida Cemetery near Stewartsville.

Visitation will be Tuesday, 3-8 p.m. March 16 and 10 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
