Carol June Minnis
age 77, passed away Saturday Mar. 6, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital, in Evansville. She was born June 3, 1932 in Darwin, IL to John and Grace (Weddle) Frakes.
She was a homemaker who also cared for many children in her home over the years.
She had lived in Ft. Branch with her daughter since last April, having lived in Princeton since 1970. She had moved to Princeton from Terre Haute, IN. She was a member of the Princeton Holiness
Tabernacle. She enjoyed reading, vacationing, and working crossword puzzles.
She is survived by two daughters: Lesta Dougan of Ft. Branch, and Karen (Larry) Meadows, Princeton,
three grandchildren Catrina (Cary) Thornton of
Somerset, KY, Larry (Lee) Meadows and John (Jen) Meadows of Ft. Branch, seven
great grandchildren: Meagan, Candy, Jocelyn, Madeline, Madison, Cherokee and
Jessie Meadows, a special cousin: Geneva (Claude) Rowe of Terre Haute, and
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank Minnis,

6, 2000, a brother Oral Frakes, and two sisters: Arlena
White and Irma Frakes.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday Mar. 13, 2010
at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Larry Meadows officiating. Burial
will follow in the Blythe Chapel Cemetery near Owensville. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday at Colvin Funeral
Home.
