Jack Wieding, 86, of Jasper, formally of Fort Branch, passed away at the Providence Home in Jasper.

Born Aug. 9, 1923 in Fort Branch, he was the son of Homer T. and Hattie Jane (KIng) Wieding.

Jack was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include one niece; and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Marzella Hefley.

A mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. (eastern) Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 at Providence Home in Jasper.Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. (central) Saturday at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010.

There will be no visitation. Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, is handling local arrangements.
