Russell W. Wright, 88,  passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010 at Winter Park, Fla.

 Born June 28, 1921, he was the son of  George and Rose (Cundiff) Wright McCormick.

 He retired from Emge Packing Co. and Montgomery Clock Manufacturing. He was a member of First General Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army.

 Survivors include a son, David (Carol) Wright of Winter Park, Fla.; sister, Bea (Roy) Stewart of Hazleton; sisters-in-law, Lois Anderson, Mary Young, Jennie Smith; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death, by his parents; wife, Vivian Nov. 20, 2009; brother, Denver; and one granddaughter.

 Burial will be at a later date in Owensville Cemetery.
