Phyllis Ann Hardiman,
73 of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at her home in Princeton. She was a member of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she was very active in the choir, Church Usher Board, the Mother
of the Church, and as a Sunday School Teacher. She retired from Hansens in 1997 after 30 years. She belonged to the Hansens Softball League and enjoyed bowling.
She was born July 1, 1936 in Gibson County, IN to Frank & Edith (Neilly)
Dixon, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by
her daughter, Sherry Chavis in 2005; and 3 sisters, Arletta Trice, Barbara McIntyre, and Dorothy Priestly.
Phyllis is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Hardiman
of Princeton; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Debra & David Mellor of
Princeton and Cynthia & Bob Copeland of Evansville; 6 grandchildren, Joshua
Chavis, Kimberly and Courtney Hardiman,
Robert Jr., Jerry and Michael Copeland; 11 great grandchildren, including,
Bianca Ann Hardiman, Ashland Cuzzort,
and Baylen Charles Hardiman;
1 sister, Lucille Lyda of Sagimore,
MI.
Funeral Services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday January 24, 2010 at Colvin Funeral
Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Floyd Edwards and Rev. Rodney Coffer
officiating. Burial will be at the Sand Hill Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time on Sunday at Colvin Funeral Home.
