Tim Alan Tyring, 53, of Petersburg, passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2009 at the Daviess County Hospital in Washington.

He was born on Sept. 9, 1956 in Evansville, to Leon and Margaret (Besing) Tyring

He was an occupational therapist with Amber Manor and had also worked for Amax Coal Co. at the Ayrshire mine.  He was a member of St. John’s Church in Buckskin.

Tim is survived by his mother, Margaret; sister, Jennifer Barrett of Evansville, three brothers, Dr. David Tyring of Camby, Rev. Scott Tyring of Speedway, Steve Dealph of Hollywood, Calif.; nieces and nephews, Erin (Justin) Lloyd of Bloomington, Ariel Tyring of Plainfield, Amanda, Erika and Anthony Tyring of Speedway, Adam and Alec Barrett of Evansville and great niece Jasmine Lloyd.

He was preceded in death by his father in 2004.

 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, with the Rev. Frank Sapp officiating. Burial will be at the St. John’s Cemetery in Buckskin. 

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City.
