Floyd Harvey Slinker, Sr., 87, formerly of Patoka, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009.

Born Aug. 30, 1922, he was the son of Charles and Melissa (Fields) Slinker.

Survivors include his wife, Marie (Case) Slinker; daughters, Linda Ellis of Mount Vernon, Wash., Marcia K. Stinson of Standwood, Wash.; sons, Floyd Slinker Jr. of Maysville, Ariz., and Marvin L. Stinson  of Idaho Falls, Idaho

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of 53 years, Norma N. (Amos) Slinker; son, Charles J. Slinker; daughter, Shirley Darlington; three brothers, Murrell Slinker, Charles Slinker, Bert Carr; two sisters, Althelia Whitten and Dorothey Black.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009 at Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4504 Broadway, Everett, Wash.
