Michael Seabourne Keeton, 45, of Oakland City, passed away Dec. 16, 2009 at home.

He was born April 17, 1964 in St. Charles, Mo., but was raised in St. Louis, Mo.

He served in Unites States Air Force.  Upon his discharge, he returned to St. Louis where he owned and operated several successful restaurants.

He relocated to Oakland City in 2006 where he and wife Christine owned Main Street Pizza. He was member of the Eagles Aerie 4288 and American Legion Post 256 both in Oakland City. He was chaplin for legion and proud to serve.

Survivors include his wife Christine Keeton; daughter, Michelle Keeton of St. Louis, Mo. siblings,  Rene (Marc) Ellison of Rosedale, Calif., Stephen (Patricia) Keeton of Oakville, Mo., Kathy (Mike) Fieweger of Festus, Mo., Leslie Turnball of Webster Groves, Mo., Kelly (Jeff) Henley of Florissant, Mo., Larry (Donna) Keeton of Affton, Mo., Gary (Tanya) Keeton, of St.Louis, Mo.; paternal grandmother, Kay Keeton of St. Charles, Mo.; beloved uncle, Mike “The Biscuit” to 18 nieces and nephews and “Boo” to may friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Edward and Elizabeth Jane (Seabourne) Keeton; paternal grandfather, Roy Edward Keeton; and maternal grandparents Alfred and Dorothy Seabourne.

Memorial services will take place at a later date.
