Viola M. (Meny) Wells, 81 of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella "Our Lady of Lourdes Circle 157" in Princeton.

She was born January 9, 1928 in Ft. Branch, IN to Henry & Olivia (Schmits) Meny, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wells in 1999; grandson, Marshall James "Jimmy" Thomas in 2003; and 2 sisters, Norma Harmon and Mildred Simon.

Viola is survived by her 5 children, Roberta "Bertie" Blanton of Virginia, Sharon Lubovich of Clinton, IN, Rebecca Vitaniemi of Clinton, IN, William "Bill" Wells of Princeton and Richard Wells of Princeton; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Frohbieter of Ft. Branch and Rosie Rexing of Ft. Branch; and brothers, John E. Meny of Haubstadt and Paul Meny of Haubstadt.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday December 7, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton with Fr. Ron Zgunda the celebrant. Burial will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Ft. Branch. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 P.M. on Sunday at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. There will be a Christian Wake Service on Sunday evening at 7 PM.
