Eugenia Mae Bosaw Strader, 82, passed away Saturday, Dec. 9, 2009 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

Born April 16, 1927, in Veavy, she was the daughter of Edwin and Jesse Conner Bosaw.

She was a lifelong member of the Day Spring Community Church in Owensville. She was  a resident of Charlton County, Ga. for the past two years.Survivors include two sons, William (Chris) Strader of Daytona Beach, Fla., Terry Strader of Daytona Beach, Fla.; daughter, Rita Jessie (Marvin) of Folkston; sister, Betty Owen of Veavy; brother, Donald Bosaw (Betty) of Owensboro, Ky.; 11 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, Ga. with Pastor Scott Burr officiating. Burial followed in Homeland Cemetery.

Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Friday Dec. 11, 2009  at the funeral home.
