Geneva Jo Minnis,
82 passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at her home in Patoka. She lived her lifetime in Gibson County. She was born November 4, 1927 in Gibson County, IN to Raymond & Edith (Spore) Taylor, both
deceased. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Sturgeon.
Geneva is survived by her husband of 60 years, Rodger Minnis;
her children, Karen (Larry) Meadows of Princeton, Gloria (Stan) Patterson of Windchester, Ky, David (Debbie)
Minnis of Portland, In, Patricia Richardson of Princeton,
Joella (Robert) Sweppy of
Keensburg, Il, Raymond Minnis
of Patoka, and Jeff (Elaine) Minnis of Princeton;
23 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; brother, Eugene Taylor; and a
sister, Bonnie Green.
Graveside Services will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton, with the Rev. Larry Meadows officiating. Burial
will follow. There will be no visitation. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday. Burial will
be at Walnut Hill Cemetery near Fort Branch..
