Kenneth Edward Keeton,  68, passed away Nov. 24, 2009, at the home of his sister in St. Charles, Mo.

He was born Sept. 7, 1941 in Oakland City, the son of Roy Edward and Kay (Snow) Keeton of St. Charles, Mo.

Surviving is his dear wife,  Alice Keeton of Oakland City.  He was the cherished father of Rene' (Marc) Ellison, Stephen (Patricia) Keeton, Michael (Christine) Keeton of Oakland City, Kathy (Mike) Fieweger, Leslie Turnbull, Kelly (Jeff) Henley, Larry (Donna) Keeton and Gary (Tanya) Keeton, and dear grandfather of Matthew, Lauren, Kristin, Jennifer, John, Josh, Nathan, Michelle, Michael Colt, Kyle, Chase, Barbara, Kenneth, Darren, Elizabeth, Brendan, Melissa, Abigail and Nicholas. He was the  great-grandfather of Maddison and beloved brother of Donna Rae Keeton of St. Peters, Mo., and Dianna Bryan of St. Charles.

He was preceded in death by his father Roy Edward Keeton, his first wife, Elizabeth Jane (Seabourne) Keeton, and grandchildren Alexander Edward Keeton and Stephen Michael Keeton.

He was a loving uncle, cousin and friend.

Ken was a veteran of the United States Air Force. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans.

Those wishing to pay their respects may join us for a celebration of Ken's life “Making Memories” from 1-3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 6,  at American Legion Post 256, 211 E. Washington St., Oakland City.
