Janie Geneva Gray, 91, of Haubstadt, formerly of Princeton, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009 at Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.

Born May 29, 1918 in Lyon County, Ky., she was the daughter of Robert and Deanie  (Hawkins) Oliver.

She was a retired finisher with Princeton Hosiery Mill.

Survivors include son, George C. (Peggy) Gray Jr. of Haubstadt; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George C. Gray; five sisters, Lucy Mae Blackburn, Roberta Litchfield, Ivy Byard, Lillian Jones, Myrtle Reddick; four brothers, Howard, Frank, Eugene and Porter Oliver.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton, Ky. with the Rev. Ron Austin officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
