EVANSVILLE - Lillian M. Riffert, 98, of Evansville,
passed away Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009
at Deaconess Hospital.
Born July 22, 1911 in
Johnson, she was the daughter of Samuel and Pearl
(Stone) Harmon.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include three children, Colleen (JL) Grayson of Evansville, Connie
(Dennis) Duty of Newman Ga., Frank (Virginia)
Riffert of Marshall Mo.; sister, Hazel (Arnold)
Gieselman of Elberfeld; 10
grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great great-
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin C. Riffert in 1985; and brothers, Thelman
and Berthal Harmon.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m.
Monday at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort
Branch, with the Rev. Bill Kellogh officiating. Burial will be in Holy
Cross Cemetery
in Fort Branch.
Visitation was 2-8 p.m. Sunday at
the funeral home and again from 9 a.m.
until the service hour on Monday.
