Denzil H. O'Neal, 85, of Evansville, died Oct. 1, 2009, at VNA Charlier Hospice Center.

He retired as chief chemist from Sterling Brewery and was a member of Methodist Temple Church.

Surviving are his sisters, Madge Hasty and Faye Fair; and a granddaughter.

Services 1:15 p.m. Monday at Boone Funeral Home, East Chapel, with a 1 p.m. Masonic service, burial in Somerville Cemetery in Somerville. Visitation is 11 a.m. to services Monday
