SOMERVILLE — William E. Greene, 63, of Somerville, passed away Saturday Sept. 26, 2009 at Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.

Born June 1, 1946 in Gibson County, he was the son of Clarence and C. Louise Greene.

He was retired from Whirlpool Corp. after 32 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Marilyn (Lewis) Greene; mother, Louise Green of Oakland City, daughters, Kimberly (Don) McClellan of Owensville, Teresa (Scott) Donohoo of Mackey, Billie (Robert) Gregory of Fort Branch; brother, Paul Greene of Evansville; sisters, Mary Knight and Betty Norrick both of Oakland City; grandchildren, Danielle, Dillion and Austin Gregory, Zachary, Kayla and Joshua McClellan, Brandon Self, Stacia Sidney and Aaron Oakley, Kalee and Alex Donohoo; and great-grandchild: Talan Self.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 30, 2009 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City with the Rev.James D. Mullins will officiating. Burial will be in Somerville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. until the service hour Wednesday at the chapel.
