OWENSVILLE - Donald Keith Cauthen, 70, of Owensville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 at Deaconess Hospice Care in Evansville.

Born Nov. 5, 1938 in Haleyville, Ala., he was the son of William Glenn and Katie (McCullar) Cauthen.

He was retired as a supervisor at the Emge Meat Packing Co. in Fort Branch. He was a member of the Owensville First Baptist Church in Owensville, was a member of the Fort Branch Masonic Lodge 696, the Evansville Scottish Rite and the Evansville Hadi Shrine.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann (Upchurch) Cauthen, seven children, Cindy Lynn of. Muncie, Phillip Cauthen of Evansville, Al Cauthen of Elkhart, Phyllis Hyneman of Hazleton, Toni Pearson of Double Springs, Ala., Kenny Windsor of Indianapolis, Phil "P-nut" Windsor of Owensville; sister, Frances Blanton of Haleyville, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009 at Stodghill Funeral Home on Ind. 168 West in Fort Branch, with the Rev. Bob Douglas officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009 at the funeral home.
