OWENSVILLE — Gracie Truman Tucker, 85, passed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 at Transcendent Healthcare of Owensville.

Born Aug. 29, 1924, she was the daughter of James M. and Anna (Thelkeld) Winstead.

She was a member of the Fort Branch General Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughters, Brenda Tucker of Oakland City, Deborah (Rodney) Dilbeck of Owensville; sons, Larry (Carolyn) Tucker of Dixon, Ky., Kenneth (Patty) Tucker of Winslow; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and one sister.

Funeral services were at 4 p.m. Sunday at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with the Rev Steve Akins officiating. Burial will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the Sunset Memorial Park in Evansville.

Visitation was 1 p.m. until the service hour Sunday at the funeral home.
