FRANCISCO, Ind. — Elva Marie (Thompson) Nixon, 81, died Sept. 14, 2009, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home.

She retired from Potter-Brumfield.

Surviving are a daughter, Cheryl Mason; stepdaughter, Cheri; sons, Ron, Steve and Kenneth Burnes; sisters, Mary Houchins, Betty Whitman and Jean Benjamin; brother, Robert Thompson; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services 10 a.m. Friday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel Oakland City, burial in Blackfoot Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to services.
