Diane J. Kidd, 65, Princeton, died at 4:46PM CDT Friday, September 18, 2009 at The Waters in Princeton.

She was born in Princeton, June 28, 1944 to M.L. and Ruth (Schlensker) Collins.

Surviving are her mother, Ruth Collins, Tualatin, Oregon; a daughter, Mrs. Kurt (Valerie) Heim, Jasper; a son, Christopher Kidd, Princeton; a brother, James Collins, Klamath Falls, Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Gary (Sandra) Thompson, Tualatin, Oregon; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, M.L. Collins and a brother, Larry Collins.

Ms. Kidd retired from Gibson General Hospital where she had worked as a registered nurse for 38 years. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Princeton. Her hobbies were playing the piano, painting and needlecraft.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 26 at 10:00 AM CDT at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Princeton, with Pastor Karen Utecht officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the service time at the church. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
