HAUBSTADT, Ind. — Mary Jane Will, age 85, passed away Friday, September 4, 2009, at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton. She was born March 21, 1924, in St. Joseph (Vanderburgh County) to the late Anthony and Cecilia (Welte) Rexing. She resided in Haubstadt most of her lifetime.

Mary Jane retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse after 20 years.

She was a cook at Sts. Peter and Paul School for 7 years. She was a Cub Scout leader for 15 years and baked cakes for thousands of weddings and birthdays for 45 years.

She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, St. Bernadette Auxiliary #280 and American Legion Auxiliary #194. Mary Jane was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Alvin in 1998; 1 son, Wayne Will in 1997; and two brothers, Robert and Eugene Rexing.

Mary Jane is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Randy) Haire of Haubstadt and Judy (Tony) Kempf of Fall Brook, Calif.; four sons, David (Susie) Will, Ronald Will, Mike Will and Bryon (Terri) Will all of Haubstadt; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Gertrude Weber of Fort Branch, Dorris Ann (Robert) Orth of Indianapolis and Jo Ann (Ray) Morris of Evansville; one brother, Jerome (Anita) Rexing of St. Philip, Ind; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Ernst officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Wade Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 7 p.m. Friends may also call from 10 a.m. until Mass time Monday at the church.
