EVANSVILLE — Sandy D. Maikranz, 66, of Evansville, formerly of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.

Born Sept. 7, 1942 in Gibson County, she was the daughter of Jess and Leona (McAtee) Blemker.

She was former owner/director of nursing at Forest Del Convalescent Center in Princeton and for the past 20 years was nurse/administrator for Sage Health Services of Indiana.

Survivors include daughter, Kendra Maikranz of Montgomery, Ala.; son, Brad Maikranz of Haubstadt; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Dale Beaver officiating. Burial will be at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
