PETERSBURG, Ind.
— Elmer D. Tepe Jr, 76,
passed away on Thursday July 9, 2009
at Golden Living
Center in Petersburg,
Indiana. He retired from the Special Mine
Services. He also played music at many local clubs with his 2 bands,
"Alley Cats" and "Nothin
Special". He was veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was born on September 19, 1932
in Somerville, Indiana
to Elmer & Nettie (Heironimus)
Tepe Sr., both deceased. Also preceding him in death
was his wife Lula Belle "Jacky" Tepe; and 3
sisters, Ruby Amos, Pauline McGillem, and Lucy Hart.
Elmer is survived by his children, Michael Tepe of Petersburg,
Indiana and Karen Hannah of Algona,
Iowa; several grandchildren and several
great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday
July 11, 2009 at 3:00 p.m.
(CDT) at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City,
Indiana with the Pastor Steve Frederick
officiating. Burial will be at the Somerville
Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time on Saturday at
Corn-Colvin Funeral Home. VFW Post #1147 will provide full military rites at
the cemetery.
