FRANCISCO — Pamela A. Pond, 48, of Francisco, passed away Tuesday Aug. 11, 2009 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

Born Aug. 4, 1961 in Princeton, she was the daughter of John and Dorothea Jean (Thompson) Pond.

She was a member of Francisco United Methodist Church and past president of the Gibson County Association of Rebeka Lodge.

She was employed at Francisco Hardware and Lumber.

Survivors include brother, David (Vicki) Pond of Francisco; several aunts; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Pond in 1984; mother, Dorothea Jean Pond in 2008; and sister, Becky Pond in 2008.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Rick Lance officiating. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Francisco.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday at the chapel.
