OWENSVILLE, Ind.
— Michael L. Jennings, 55, of Owensville went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 13, 2009.
He was born on October 23, 1953,
to Robert L. and Emma Jean (Compton)
Jennings.
Mike graduated from Owensville High
School in 1971. He then received his Bachelor's
Degree from USI and Masters from ISU. Mike was a 5th grade teacher at Fort
Branch Community
School for the past 31 years. He is
a member of Christian Fellowship
Church in Evansville.
Mike is survived by his wife of 30 years, Twila (Jackson) Jennings; 2
daughters, Carling (Randy) Dunham of Virginia Beach, Va., and Lacey Jennings of
Owensville; his parents; brother, Keith (Karen) Jennings of Owensville; 2
nephews, Kyle and Kurt Jennings; and a niece, Katelyn Jennings; mother-in-law,
Virginia (Jackson) and Claud Luff; brother-in-law, Ken (Kathy) Jackson.
Mike was preceded by his father-in-law, Kenneth L. Jackson, Sr.
Services will be at 11 a.m.
Thursday, June 18, at Christian Fellowship
Church, 4100
Millersburg Road, Evansville.
The Rev. David Niednagel will officiate. Burial will be in the Owensville
Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Holders Funeral Home and
from 9:30 a.m. to the service hour on
Thursday at the church.
