FORT BRANCH, Ind. — Stephanie D. Eaton, 56, of Lafayette, Ind., formerly of Fort Branch, Ind., passed away on July 20, 2009, at her home.

She was born on May 23, 1953, to Henry Kiesel and the late Barbara (Heiserman) Kiesel in Princeton, Ind. She was a housewife, previously worked at Potter and Brumfield and TJ Maxx. She was of the Catholic faith, loved to cook, was a very generous person and never met a stranger.

She is preceded by her mother, Barbara in 1987, brother, Greg Kiesel in 1999, and a nephew, Jason Hall in 1996.

She is survived by her father, Henry (RoseElla) Kiesel of Fort Branch, Ind.; her husband of 10 years, Fred Eaton of Lafayette, Ind.; a daughter, Jennifer (Dan) Colbert of Owensville, Ind.; and a son, Brian Johnson of Lafayette, Ind.; 5 sisters, LaDonna (Dennis) Hopster, Sherry (Allen) Campbell, Debra (Jeff) Hall, Janet Kiesel all of Fort Branch, and Ilesa (Mike) Ward of Dale, Ind.; 1 brother, James (Cindi) Kiesel of Fort Branch, Ind.; one grandson, Cale Colbert of Owensville, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services for Stephanie will be held July 24, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch with Father Tony Ernst officiating.

Visitation will be held on July 24, 2009, from 2 p.m. till service time at the funeral home.
