WASHINGTON, Ind. — Elizabeth Jane Coleman, 52, of Washington, Ind., entered rest on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at 3:10 p.m. at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Ind.

She was born on June 25, 1957, to by parents Russell and Ardela "Dutchie" Coleman who preceded her in death.

She graduated from Wood Memorial High School in 1975 and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Oakland City, Ind. She worked for Daviess Community Hospital in Washington for 20 years and was a Girl Scout Leader and President of Washington High School Band Boosters.

Surviving are a daughter, Amanda Fuhrman of Washington, IN; and sister, Mary Helen Wyatt of Niantic, Connecticut.

Funeral services will be Sunday July 12, 2009, at 2 p.m. CDT at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City, IN. The Rev. Roger L.Pratt officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. CDT. Saturday at the chapel.
