FORT BRANCH, Ind.—
Gregory P Barrett, 63, of Fort Branch,
passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2009,
at Charlier Hospice
Center in Evansville.
He was born on Nov. 7th, 1945,
in Princeton, Ind.,
to Vince and Alice (Morrison) Barrett who survive him.
He was a Navy veteran, a member of the Holy
Cross Church
in Fort Branch.
He enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids in sporting events and he also
enjoyed traveling.
He is survived by his parents, his wife, Judy (Sensmeier) of Fort Branch;
his son, Mark Barrett and his fiancee, Lindsay Mielcarz, of Indianapolis;
daughters, Jennifer (Kevin) Seibert of Haubstadt, Ind., Beth Barrett and her
fiancee, Kacey Ross, of Evansville; 2 grandchildren, Delaney and Ashton Seibert
of Haubstadt; 7 brothers and sisters, Mary Meny of Haubstadt, Jeff Barrett of
Fort Branch, Steve Barrett of Haubstadt, Laura Goedde of Haubstadt, Theresa
Marshall of Evansville, Myra Hillerck of Louisville, Ky., and Dennis Barrett of
Princeton, Ind.; and mother-in-law, Rosaline Sensmeier of Haubstadt.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at 10
a.m. at Holy Cross
Church in Fort
Branch, Ind., with Father Tony
Ernst officiating. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul
Cemetery in Haubstadt.
Visitation will be Tuesday June 23,
2009, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Stodghill Funeral Home, located
on Hwy 168 West in Fort Branch,
and again from 9 a.m. till service
time at the funeral home on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday
evening at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral
home.
