Donna Kay (Van Deventer) Turpen, 62, of Evansville, died June 20, 2009, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

She retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a Vietman War veteran.

Surviving are her husband, Kenny Krack; daughters, Amy and Cindy Turpen; her mother, Mary Van Deventer; sisters, Mary Delaney and Virginia Sieferd; and brothers Edward Jr. and J. Roscoe Van Deventer.

Services noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion in Haubstadt, Ind. Memorials may be made to the Vanderburgh Humane Society. The Wade Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
