PRINCETON, Ind. — John E. Brock Sr., 85, died March 25, 2009, in Olney, Ill.

He retired from the Army Corps of Engineers and was an Army veteran and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Surviving are wife, Eliza; daughters, Mary Greenwell and Sue McCraw; son, John Jr., 13 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.

Services 11 a.m. Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home, burial at St. Joseph Cemetery with military rites. Visitation is 9 a.m. to services at the funeral home.
