Henry Bowman (1833-1903)

Henry grew up in Sandusky, Ohio, and removed to Fulton County in the 1860's. His parents were John and Polly Foster Bowman. Henry's great grandfather was Lt. Bernhard Heinrich Bauman, who emigrated to Pennsylvania from Germany in the 1700's. The family was Lutheran and many Bowman's were buried in the Lutheran Cemetery in Tiosa, Indiana. Henry ran the grist mill in Talma for several years. He had 3 wives who gave him 5 childen:
