Rufus (1838-1914) & Cordelia (1846-1907) Blair

Cordelia Apt was the daughter of Peter and Leah Apt, and married Rufus Blair on Dec. 6th, 1864. Rufus was a carpenter, and together they had two children:

Hollice Nolan “Nola” (1869–1965) m. Frances Jeanetta Spangler
Octavia Olive (1865-1938) m. George Ralston

Nola was a member of the Kewanna Light Guards of 1884. He worked for his father, Rufus, and later worked for the Erie Railroad. Octavia was a prominent member of the methodist church where she sang in the church choir. Her husband, George Ralston, owned a pharmacy for over 50 years in Kewanna. He was a 32nd degree Mason.
