SNOW HILL CEMETERY

The Snow Hill cemetery is located on Snow Hill Road, west of the junction with Johnson's Fork Road. It is on the south side of the road and slopes down from the road toward a lake. It is readily visible from the road and the park-like setting is kept mowed as a part of the adjoining lawn. There are a number of stones which are leaned against trees, but bases are still visible. The graves are arranged in a "T" shape with the top of the "T" toward the lake. There is a helpful booklet at the Brookville Library typed by Mary Wilson Kelley, Samuel Huntington Chap DAR, in July 1972. It includes obituaries and history of the tract of land and information gathered from ancestors of those buried there
