CHANCE-BOWNE CEMETERY

From Tim Mattingly: "My father and I personally walked this entire cemetery and recorded all the markers. With the cemetery being so old, a lot of the stones were unreadable, broken off or completely missing. James Chance, #9 on the plot plan, is my GGGG grandfather. I would like to thank Gloria Brashear for all the help she gave me. The same James Chance is her GGG grandfather."

The Chance Cemetery is located east of Laurel on the Laurel-Blooming Grove Road.
