Page 188. Samuel Howell and Elizabeth Howell executors of the will of Chatfield Howell dec. produced in court his will. The will was dated July 2, 1830 with Samuel Murphy, Smith Dubois and Recompence Murphy as witnesses. Chatfield mentions his son James, his son Samuel, his son John, his daughters Mary, Rebecca, Mercy, Hannah, the heirs of his daughter Sarah, his daughter Elizabeth and he appoints son Samuel Howell and his daughter Elizabeth to be his executors. Samuel Howell may be his son-in-law MH?. March 12,1832 court in vacation.

Page 190. The will of Ephraim Young deceased is filed in court. The will was dated 1817 but no month or day was mentioned and was witnessed by John Brison and Atwell Jackman, He mentions his wife Jannet but does now mention any other heirs nor an executor, April 1832

Page 192. Daniel St. John administrator of the estate of Parley White deceased files in court a complaint of the insolvency of this estate. An ad of this insolvency is to be placed in the Western Statesman, a newspaper at Lawrenceburgh. April 12, 1832

Page 194. James Conwell produces in court the will of Isaac Swearingan deceased and executes a bond of $15,000 with Charles Collett and Abraham Conwell as his securities. Isaac’s will is dated May 4, 1832 and was witnessed by Horatio N Burgoyne, Edward Daniel and Edward Toner. He mentions his wife Barbary and some books that are to be given James Vilott. He also mentions eighty acres that he owns near the town of St. Omer, which is to go to James Vilott and another eighty acres owned jointly be he and The Methodist Episcopal Church of Indiana as a legatee, his nephew Joseph Van Swearengen and real estate that he purchased from Edward Toner. He appoints James Conwell to be his sole executor. May 21, 1832.

Page 198. Caleb Shera and William Shera produce in court the will of James Shera deceased and executes a bond of 1000 with Samuel Barber and Daniel Shafer as their securities. The will was dated March 2, 1830 and witnessed by Samuel Barber and William Munne. He mentions his eldest son caleb, his 2nd son William, his eldest daughter Jane, his 2nd daughter Mary Anne, his 3rd son Michael, his youngest daughter Margaret. He appoints his brother William of Oxford Township, Butler Co Ohio to be his executor. He later states that his sons Caleb and William are to be his executors. June 1832.

Page 220. George Miller the guardian of Bengamin Osborn one of the heirs of Thomas Osborn deceased files an account current for settlement of the estate of Thomas in so far as it relates to Benjamin. Aug 1832

Page 220. It is ordered to be certified that John Hutchin, who is about to apply for a license to practice as an attorney, is a person of good moral character. Aug 1832

Page 221, William Carson administrator of the estate of John Voorhees deceased files an account current in court for final settlement of this estate./ August 1832, Some of the creditors which are owed by this estate James Gillespie, the estate of James Wynn, John Davis, John Wynn, Sarah Powlison, Henry Compton, Stephen Craig, Voorhees Skillman, William keene, David Price, Peter Hawkenberry. Nixon Oliver, This estate is to be settled as an insolvent one, Aug 1832.

Page 222. Samuel Barbour is appointed the guardian of Thomas, James, John, Michael and Margaret Shera infant heirs of James Shera deceased and a bond is filed for $1200 with George Byrne as his security. Aug 1832
