COVINGTON — Mrs. Lettie Wysong, age 81, a resident of Covington for 45 years, died at 1 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at her home at 602 Third St. She had been ill several years but death was unexpected. She was a housewife. Mrs. Wysong was born May 26, 1888 in Warren County, the daughter of Clark and Cassie McGinnis Williams. She was married in 1905 to Albert Wysong and he preceded her in death in 1965. Surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. William (Florence) Long of Covington; one brother, Grover Williams Sr. of Marshfield; two grandchildren, Mike Long with the U.S. Navy in California, and Terrie Meihls, at home in Covington; one great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Hegg Funeral Home in Covington. A nephew, the Rev. Grover Williams, officiated and burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
