COVINGTON — Beulah Fern Wyatt, 87, Covington, died at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2001 at her residence. She was born April 15, 1914 in Danville, Ill., the daughter of William and Louise Bell McClaren Stingley. She married Benjamin Franklin Burkholder Aug. 10, 1929 in Valparaiso. He preceded in death April 3, 1944. She married Clell E. Wyatt Jan. 21, 1950 in Crown Point. He preceded in death Nov. 29, 1983. She moved to Covington in 1979 and formerly resided at Williamsport and Cedar Lake. She was a member of the Moose in Hammond. Survivors include: three sons, William (Eleanor) Burkholder, Covington, Wayne Francis (Sandra) Burkholder, The Villages, Fla. and Jack (Pat) Burkholder, Gary; two daughters, Patty Johnson, Cedar Lake and Deborah Doppler, Miller Beach; a half brother, Robert (Jerry) Walker, Hammond; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sons, a daughter, a sister, a brother, and a half brother. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, with Gary Johnson officiating. Burial was in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. – jlr
