Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, Oct. 8, at the Machledt Funeral Home in Williamsport for Ivan Dale Wurtsbaugh, age 48, a life-resident of the Williamsport community, who died at 6:20 a. m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at the Community Hospital in Williamsport where he had been a patient nine days following five years of failing health. Born Dec. 26, 1911 in Marshfield, he was the son of Edward and Arminta Daley Wurtsbaugh, He was married Dec. 17, 1942 to Betty Flesher, who survives. Mr. Wurtsbaugh had served two terms as Warren County Clerk and had been in the insurance business. He was a member of the Christian Church, Masonic Lodge 38, having been a past master and the Scottish Rite. Survivors include his wife, mother of Williamsport; two brothers, Lee and Wayne, both of Williamsport; and a sister, Mrs. George Taflinger of Williamsport. The Rev. Douglas Dickey officiated with burial in the West Lebanon Cemetery.   --typed by Walt W
