James A. Wright, 67, died at 1:24 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 1996 in Community Hospital, Williamsport. He was born August 29, 1928 in State Line, the son of Hyta R. and Ina A. (High) Wright. Mr. Wright was a resident of State Line until 10 years ago when he moved to Covington. He was a farmer until recent years and was a businessman. He was a former owner of I & I Steak House, Jim Dandy's in West Lebanon, and Flagtown Inn in Mellott. He opened I & I Package Store in 1987 and was a partner of Covington Auction House. Jim graduated from Covington High School in 1945. He was a member of State Line United Methodist Church, Fountain Lodge #60 F & AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Danville, Ill. and Zorah Shrine. Surviving, are: one son, David of State Line; one daughter, Jill Larch of Ambia; two brothers, Ralph (Marie) Wright of Danville, Ill. and Frank (Patricia) Wright of Rensselaer; two grandsons, Isaac and Jacob Larch, both of Ambia; and his former wife, Patricia (Bolmgren) Wright of Covington. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Visitation was Tuesday at Shelby Funeral Home. Service there on Wednesday with Rev. Grover Williams officiating. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington. – jlr
