VEEDERSBURG – Frank Worthington, 87, a retired farmer, died in his home at Rt. 4, (Sterling), at 6:30 p.m. Friday. He had been in failing health 12 years. Born at Lake City, Tenn., he had been a resident of the Veedersburg area since 1967. He formerly lived near Wallace and in Benton County. Mr. Worthington was married in 1913 at Lake City to Bertha Jane Massengille, and she died in 1973. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Joan) McAdams, Rt. 4, Attica; and one brother, Charles Worthington of Kokomo. --– jlr
